R&L was first engaged to review and implement marketing activities to increase the census of self-pay patients. This engagement has evolved into a “turnaround” where we are functioning as Co-CEO. Responsibilities include:
Design and implementation of a new website
Creating local and regional marketing elements to drive awareness and revitalize image
Renegotiation of all managed care contracts and entry into new, bigger key contracts
Developed a post-discharge follow-up system to enhance continuum of patient care
KEY RESULTS
Overall referrals and inquiry phone calls have dramatically increased
Two key referral sources were significantly expanded
New website is now logging 40-50 qualified hits per day
New or renegotiated contracts have resulted in 12% better reimbursements
