R&L was first engaged to review and implement marketing activities to increase the census of self-pay patients. This engagement has evolved into a “turnaround” where we are functioning as Co-CEO. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implementation of a new website

  • Creating local and regional marketing elements to drive awareness and revitalize image

  • Renegotiation of all managed care contracts and entry into new, bigger key contracts

  • Developed a post-discharge follow-up system to enhance continuum of patient care

KEY RESULTS
  • Overall referrals and inquiry phone calls have dramatically increased

  • Two key referral sources were significantly expanded

  • New website is now logging 40-50 qualified hits per day

  • New or renegotiated contracts have resulted in 12% better reimbursements
